Sadly, we have announced the closure of North Perk Cafe.
It is with sadness and deep disappointment that we must announce the closure of North Perk Café. The impact of the Covid-19 lock down and subsequent loss of earnings has left us with the difficult decision to close the café.
The café has been an important part of many people’s lives with many young people gaining valuable training and experience. It has been a place for many to meet their friends and become part of the North Perk family. We know that it will be missed.
Ykids will continue to provide support for children, their families and to the wider community from its Linacre Lane centre when we come out of lock down. Until then we have a great online offer (ykidsonline.co.uk) with lots of great ideas. We continue to meet children in our weekly zoom meetings and provide monthly activity packs to all the children we support. Kingsley & Co, our amazing children’s bookshop and café will open again as soon as possible with tea, coffee, cakes and lots of books. (kingsleyandco.org)
We would like to thank our amazing staff for their years of dedicated hard work and service, and we wish them all the best for the future.
We would also like to thank all our regular customers for their support and hope you continue to stay safe during this difficult time.
